Getting eye contact from your dog is crucial in your training. Eye contact means they look at you for leadership. Eye contact means they look to you for direction. Eye contact can mean they love and trust you. How is your dog's eye contact with you? If you are struggling this works every time. Bring your dog to the door to let them out. Place them on a sit and stay. Open the door. Do not release them from their stay until they give you eye contact. The MOMENT they make eye contact release them.
