Stop feeding dry food!

Dry food is on average 33% carbs on a dry matter basis. The highest I've seen is 49%!

The cat's natural diet (whole prey) is less than 10% carbs. Carbohydrates also fuel hunger and weight gain.

How to get your cat to lose weight:
Transition to wet or raw first. Then decrease the amount of food fed.

Feeding your cat less kibble will not help him lose weight. Feeding your cat a weight management dry food will not promote health in the long run.

Cats require high moisture foods. Water is essential for life!
