Elephant and his food

The highest and most sacred part of Sri Dalada Perahera (procession), which is held annually as an honour for Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Budda and on behalf of the four great deities, is the view of the Eternal Sacred Tooth Relic in Sri Lanka.

Among the elephants that grace the Dalada Perahera, the elephant that contributes to this most sacred aspect is the most fortunate, auspicious and magnificent elephant.
