After CBC we returned to El Paso TX . I was expecting my second son Isaiah. We attended Truth Tabernacle with Pastor Oliver. My parents brothers and sisters nieces and nephews attended with us and were baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Pastor Oliver wanted us to start a new church. We did not feel led to do this. Bro Rosales received orders for Nuremberg Germany. He left and I waited to receive orders to travel. I followed him when Isaiah was 18 months and Joshua was 6 yrs old along with 18 pieces of luggage.

We arrived in Frankfurt Germany and Pastor N Wayne Nigh picked us up and took us to the Lighthouse in Wiesbaden Dotzheim Germany. We received military housing and moved to Nuremberg. I quickly received a government job. I taught my self to play the accordion while Bro Rosales was in the Army. I would pick up the boys Joshua and Isaiah from school and baby sitter then go practice my accordion. Sis McCreary from CBC gave the accordion to me and I played it in Chapel services. Isaiah became ill with fibral seizures. One day at a picnic Isaiah had another seizure. He turned blue from lack of oxygen and his eyes rolled back. A soldier saw what was happening and he gave him mouth to mouth. We quickly drove to emergency. Isaiah was taken to a childrens hospital. Pastor Richard McGriffin UPC our pastor said the doctors did not expect Isaiah to live through the night. Bro Rosales went to Wednesday night Bible study. The church prayed fervently for Isaiah. He had Spinal meningitis and Encephalitis. Jesus heard our cry and Isaiah was healed. The doctor said he was a miracle. We continued witnessing every day. A fellow worker and her husband came to church and agreed to be baptized at their home in the bathtub. She had tuberculosis and the Lord healed her.

Bro Rosales received orders for Ft Polk LA. We attended the POA Pentecostal of Alexandria LA. Pastors GA and Anthony Mangun built upon our foundation. We assisted with the jail ministry. Bro Rosales preached and baptized inmates while I played accordion given to me by Sis McCreary from CBC. The Manguns had Outreach on Saturdays door knocking and visitation. We found a 99 yr old and she agreed to be baptized in Jesus name. We had a time getting her up the stairs. We also were part of the Messiah production for 5 yrs. I was baptized by John the Baptist and changed for the next act for 20 days at each performance. I was a member of the Alexandria Sanctuary Choir with Gerund and Becky Davis. We did a live recording with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in New York. We performed in Turlock CA and Stockton CA at Christian Life College.

We also attended Leesville LA UPC with Pastor Gibson where I played on the platform with the musicians. This was quite an honor. I worked at the Leesville Leader newspaper as a legal adds clerk. Then I was hired to work as a Secretary for the government. I worked for an architect who was UPC and he convinced me to become a volunteer Mayor at Ft Polk LA. There were 13 volunteers and we each had our own community. Mine consisted of 1600 families. The population of Ft Polk was 75K people. After work we would go door knocking. Bro Rosales and I would talk to the soldiers and their families. We needed volunteers for the Entrance Beautification program that could read blue prints and workers to clean the parks in the Fall and Spring Clean Up. We started the Mr McGruff Dog Tags for kids in case they were lost or separated from their parents. We held meetings and block parties to distribute information on Drug and Alcohol Abuse Recycling Spouse and Child abuse and Self Help Work Shops. We contacted the Engineers. We had received play ground equipment and needed them to set it up. We attended Command functions and dinners. We were awarded 3rd runner up in the Great American Family Award signed by Barbara Bush. We were stationed at Ft Polk for five years.

One day Bro Rosales was at a PT Physical Training. It was a baseball game between Officers and NCOIC’s Non Commissioned Officers. Bro Rosales was an NCOIC E-6. He was running to home base and slid and was safe but was tagged on the left side of his head by the catcher. He was injured. It was a forceful blow to the head. He got up and walked to the dug out. After the game they ate and he experienced a seizure when he bit into a piece of chicken. The ambulance was called and he had another seizure. He was taken by helicopter to Alexandria LA and had another seizure. He vomited on the nurse and pilot. At the hospital the doctor was waiting to see if the skull was touching his brain to perform surgery. It was not. He was medically discharged from the Army and received a 100% dissability.

We moved back to El Paso TX. His family was very worried. They wanted us to stay in El Pado TX. We felt a strong desire to travel to CA so the boys could attend Stockton Bible College. We decided to move to Stockton CA at Christian Life Center with Pastor Kenneth Haney. Joshua and Isaiah attended Christian school. Bro Rosales was not well but became head usher. I continued working for the government as a Secretary. We taught Sunday School to 52 eight yr olds. Joshua and Isaiah also assisted. They were in Bible Quizzing and martial arts taught by Bro Art Miraflor. A fellow employee came to church and was baptized in Jesus name. We taught Search for Truth to his family. I joined the Choir with Director Glen Woodward. The church was in a building program. We helped with finances. The Lord was blessing the church and we were enjoying every minute.
