Tom Macdonald’s“Riot” - Wannabe Mainstream Generic Mid

I like HIp-Hop and Rock of all sorts but Tom MacDonald's newest song just left me wondering who exactly this song is suppose to speak to. It sounds like just another boastful self promotional rap song to me, and yet Tim Pool called this man, and this song prime examples of counterculture.
