Psalms 64

Hear, O God, my voice in my prayer; keep my life from the fear of the enemy.
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, and from the tumult of workers of iniquity.
Who sharpened their tongues like swords; and they framed by their arrows bitter words,
That they may shoot in a hidden place to him who is blameless; they shoot at him suddenly, and fear not.
They stand in evil intent; they speak of secretly laying snares, and say, Who will see them?
They go about inquiring malice, they inquire into everything that can be inquired; and both, the inner thought of each, and the heart, are deep.
But God will shoot them with an arrow, and suddenly they will be wounded.
So they will cause their tongues to stumble against themselves; all who see them will flee.
And all men shall fear, and declare the work of God; and they will prudently consider his deeds.
The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and trust in him, and all the upright in heart will glory.

Psalms 65

Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion, and the vow will be paid to you.
O thou that hearest prayers, unto thee shall all flesh come.
Iniquities prevail against me; but thou cleanest our transgressions.
Blessed is he whom you choose, and bring near to you, that he may dwell in your courts; we will be filled with the goodness of your house and your holy temple.
With tremendous things in righteousness you will answer us, O God of our salvation; you are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of those who are far off on the sea.
He who strengthens the mountains by his strength, girded with strength;
What calms the noise of the seas, the noise of its waves, and the tumult of peoples.
And those who dwell in the ends of the earth fear your signs; you make morning and evening departures merry.
You visit the earth, and refresh it; you greatly enrich it with the river of God, which is full of water; thou preparest her wheat, when thou hast prepared her thus.
You fill your furrows with water; you smooth its ridges; you soften it with much rain; Bless your news.
You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths drip with fat.
They pour over the desert pastures, and the hills gird them with joy.
The fields are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are covered with wheat; they rejoice and sing.
