I just remember when they were running against Barack Obama they were talking about Chicago politics and I just thought like there's barely anybody alive who even understands what that means. And it's funny too that she doesn't say San Francisco Nancy Pelosi because that also doesn't have the resonance that it used to. It used to be like she was from a gay place and it's not even like she wasn't even hammering like the socialism it was more like the IRS or China. Like I was it's kind of an interest- the connotation seemed different than usual from like campaign ads targeting Pelosi. It is weird that they feel so untethered from their own narrative in this election. They're like flailing around to see what sticks...
