I know, at one point or another, we all feel like we're living in some kind of alternate universe.  Where facts and reality don't seem to matter a whole lot, and things that are completely insane are now reality.

It has become increasingly difficult to even have conversations with people who have different opinions, because it doesn't feel like we even have reality in common right now.

But why is that? How did we get to a point where stating facts and data triggers the left into hysterics?

Well, I have a theory about that.
