A resident who put 4 children through the Hopkins School District addressed the school board, inquiring about their strategy to address failing academics. Once the #1 rated high school in Minnesota, Hopkins has fallen out of the Top 50 and continuing to plummet. In the 2020 academic proficiency data provided by the Minnesota Department of Education, Hopkins High School has less than 50% proficiency at grade level in Math, Reading and Science.
