UNKNOWN CAUSE OF DEATH

The Dolphins made the announcement at halftime of their preseason game against the Eagles that Jason Jenkins, their senior vice president of communications and community relations, had passed away on Saturday. He was 47. It's unclear what caused the death. According to The Palm Beach Post, Jenkins passed away following "a medical issue." Jenkins has been employed by the Dolphins since 2009 and had been a senior VP since 2015.
