In this episode, we have news from Retro Fighters regarding a new version of the Brawler64 hitting Kickstarter, featuring integrated Bluetooth, Rumble, Nintendo Switch Online button mapping, and more.

For the longest time, I have loved the Retro Fighters Brawler64. I have backed every Kickstarter they have had, from the original Brawler 64, Brawler64 Wireless, Defender PS1/2 controller and more. Not leaving well enough alone, Retro Fighters has announced their latest iteration of the Brawler64 N64 Wireless controller, the Brawler64 N64 Bluetooth Wireless for Nintendo Switch!

The Retro Fighters Brawler64 Wireless NSO Edition comes with all the designs and features of the Brawler64 that you love and then some! Featuring the latest in wireless Bluetooth technology and a built-in rechargeable battery. The Wireless NSO Edition has a wireless range of 30+ feet and a battery life of 10+ hours per charge.

The controller is custom-made for NSO/Switch usage and features easy connectivity. Retro Fighters has also added a few NEW buttons, such as a screenshot button, home and "-" button. Most importantly, they added a new "Swap" button that allows the player to switch between NSO button layout AND the traditional Switch Pro layout. The wireless NSO Edition comes defaulted with the NSO button layout. Just connect your NSO Wireless Edition to the Switch and you're ready to go, no remapping or firmware updates are needed.

This is something I am 100% going to back! I love the look of the Arctic White controller, it looks so amazing! Add in the added benefit of rumble, Bluetooth, and NSO button mapping from the box and you have what is sure to be the best Brawler64 to date. I am excited to see how this performs and also excited for the Retro Fighters team, as this truly addresses some of the biggest criticisms of the Brawler64 Wireless.
