SF Bay Area Earthquakes Happened Last Night Video:

SF Bay Area Earthquakes Happened Last Night! Several happened within the hour of each other. Areas that appeared affected:

The 2.9 Magnitude earthquake appeared to be in Oakland CA but was later changed to Berkeley California.

There were a couple of earthquakes in the Bay Area last night. This earthquake was near the extinct volcano located at the Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve which is located in the Oakland CA Hills.

The earthquake that appeared to be near Stockton CA was right by the Diablo Foothills Regional Park, by Mt Diablo at the Mount Diablo State Park.

Both locations have a volcanic history that is documented.

The other earthquakes that were mentioned, were not appearing on the map. The California earthquakes that occurred in the SF Bay Area were:

Berkeley, Alameda County, California - 2.9 Magnitude
Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County, California - Unconfirmed 4.4 Magnitude
They changed the Stockton unconfirmed to 4.9 km from "Walnut Creek" and downgraded it to a 3.8 magnitude. It was originally a 4.4 Magnitude.

The Walnut Creek CA earthquake and the Berkeley CA earthquake are in heavily populated areas.

The Berkeley CA earthquake had 317 reports that people had felt the earthquake. The Walnut Creek CA earthquake had 344 reports that people had felt the earthquake.

No damages appeared to happen based on the reports. The Walnut Creek CA unconfirmed earthquake will never be presented as a reason for the seismic event. Most unconfirmed earthquakes go unexplained. One of the earthquakes appeared to be in the Oakland Hills but we'll have to wait until all earthquakes are documented.

Alameda County Earthquakes in the last 24 hours:
14 earthquakes - 2.0 Magnitude or higher

Contra Costa County Earthquakes in the last 24 hours:
12 earthquakes
4 earthquakes 2.0 Magnitude or higher
1 earthquake 3.0 Magnitude or higher

I would not be surprised if many of the Bay Area Residents weren't familiar with the Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve being so close to them. Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve isn't the only place an earthquake was near, so was Mt Diablo which also has a volcanic history.

This concludes the information on the Contra Costa County and Alameda County earthquakes.

Not sure if the global news covers this, but it should be considered global news. If not, it should be regarded as international news. These are a lot of earthquakes for a region to endure around volcanoes.

I don't possess a major in Geology or am I a topologist, yet the earth and its experiences fascinate my curiosity. I honestly have learned to love nature and am crawling my way back to understanding nature from a spiritual sense.
