This week we look at Genesis 15 in which we see the “cutting of covenant” the formal covenant ceremony between God and Abram. We also cover the significance of a very important verse: “Abram believed the Lord, and he credited to him as righteousness.” (Gen 15:6). We look at the implications of Gen 15:6 as it is spelled out in the New Testament. Also covered is the geographical area of the promised land, spelled out by God in Gen 15:18-21. As well as; Eliezer of Damascus, Abram’s first conversation with God, Righteousness, Children of Abraham, the sin of the Amorites (and Canaanites). As well as God symbolized by fire! Lots to cover!
