CRASHING THE ANTIQUE PARTY | SHOP WITH ME & VINTAGE YOUTUBERS

One fun thing about being the antique nomad is popping up unexpectedly where the vintage action is! Coming back from a New York buying trip, I happen to be in Pennsylvania right when a group of other YouTubers are meeting to shop, and they’re letting us tag along!

This is Crazy Lamp Lady’s home turf, and she suggests we rendezvous at an antique mall in the giant Adamstown, PA antique center. Adams Antique Annex is a big, bright place filled with elegant antiques, vast amounts of vintage and a lot of vendors having sales. What will we find?

Somehow between sharing stories and laughs, we manage to hunt through this large antique mall and turn up some reseller bargains, along with a lot of really good collections of specific types of collectibles. Nodders? There must be 10 dozen of them! Matchbooks? A shelf full of figural designs awaits. Crocks, primitives and true antiques? Pennsylvania’s antique capital has them all, and we get to see a lot of great stuff.

Kat from The Nurse Flipper shows us a terrific find they got from the flea market they attended with Dagny of Flying Pig Thrifts, and Drew gives us a great lesson in what to look for with A&P items. It’s so much fun shopping with other enthusiastic social media creators who appreciate vintage reselling!

Murano cigarette holder, 1920s alligator toothpick, vintage mini portraits, ball fan, Oliver typewriter, ad thermometer, fleur-de-lis bookends, Dinky toys, Pepsodent display, coverlets, trench art candlesticks, Greenwich Flint Craft glass, Portuguese majolica, thorn handle basket, Russel Wright pitcher, bejeweled chamber stick, bakelite jewelry, Waylande Gregory ceramics, Phoenix art pottery, Niloak Mission Ware, etc.
