A True Believer Lives by the Word of Truth

James instructs the believers to not only be hears of the word, but we must also be doers of the word. That does not mean we work for our salvation nor does it mean we have to work for God’s grace. What it does mean though, we should work towards putting into practice the Word of Truth. Our lives will significantly change when we study the word of God and then apply its principles to our lives. It will have an everlasting effect on us and those who we evangelize and witness to. People pay close attention when you claim to be a Christian in today’s environment when you are not representing Christ appropriately, always on the ready to accuse of Christian hypocrisy. If we not only read and hear the word, but apply it in our life, then we represent the Triune God in the appropriate ways that He deserves, with love, respect and honor. Others around us will greatly benefit from God’s love as He pours into us and we share that love with them. With His love in us then, we can respect and honor our friends, our neighbors, our co-workers, our church family and strangers as an example as we live a Godly life. Truly representing the Triune God.
