What is Truth?

Jesus Christ is the truth. Pontius Pilate had truth right in front of him and he did not recognize the truth. Jesus Christ came to this earth to die. Jesus Christ is telling Pilate that everything that is happening right now is suppose to happen. Truth was speaking truth to Pilate, and he did not understand that. Pilate asked: Art thou a king then? And Jesus Christ tells him “Thou sayest that I am a king”, which we have before seen that Jesus Christ is essentially saying He is a king. This is why we walk by faith and not by sight. Remember, Pilate is looking at a bloodied and bruised man, dressed as a carpenter, and saying He is a king. Jesus Christ was born into this world to give people the truth.
