FREDDIE

Freddy is a 13.2 hh, 14 year old, Creamello Gelding
Was a lesson horse for years before we bought him
Has been used by our grandchildren for 4H, & riding lessons, and he is GREAT for all kinds of arena fun!
Extremely outgoing & friendly on the ground, LOVES attention, is great to catch, tie, load, bath, has got good bare feet
Because he has been fawned over by little girls, he can sometimes forget his manners and may need an adult reminder from time to time.
Freddie is as SAFE as SAFE can be for beginners under instruction
Would be suitable for beginner, or intermediate rider
More WHOA than go – A 2 out of 10 on the energy scale, but with bumpers or crop he can make it to a solid 5.
For people with more skills, he has good transitions, works well off leg, & can jump a small course
SOLID, SOUND, absolutely no health issues, and the perfect size for kids or smaller adults.

Reason for selling – We have 10 grandchildren who like to trail ride from time to time. Freddie is NOT a good trail horse. His nose is magically pulled to grass, and once he’s there it is nearly impossible to break the munching connection. He gets very grumpy on a trail ride, he absolutely hates it, is generally miserable, and makes the kids miserable too. Just not a good fit for our kids outside the arena.
