He had an entire system, built of multiple different financial scams going at the same time and calculated his own impact as being more than $24 million in losses to his victims.
Hushpuppi was an incredibly well-known figure before any of his crimes came to light.
He was known for being an Instagram influencer, where he’d show off his sports cars, his designer jewelry, and anything else he could get his hands on to show off how fabulously wealthy he was.
It was this vanity that would ultimately lead to his eventual downfall.
