Visa Inc, Mastercard Inc and American Express have said that they will implement a new merchant category code, approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), for US gun retailers. Gun-control activists said that the code will track purchase of suspicious weapons. The code will show where an individual has spent money but won't show the items purchased.
