According to reports from last night, King Charles allegedly "told" Prince Harry not to bring his wife Meghan Markle to Balmoral Castle as he and other senior royals rushed to the side of the dying Queen. Meghan Markle is believed to have been with Prince Harry at the time.

A small domestic drama involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was taking place on Thursday, in the midst of the personal family tragedy that occurred on Thursday, when the Queen passed away at the age of 96.
It was a fortunate coincidence, in a way, that Harry and Meghan were in the country when the prince's grandmother passed away. This spared him an emotionally taxing and undoubtedly traumatic transatlantic dash as the Queen's health deteriorated.
Even though they had a contentious relationship in recent years, no one would wish to deny him the opportunity to express his grief over the loss of his cherished "Granny," with whom he had always shared a friendly and good-natured bond.
But while the royal households were consumed with concern for the ailing monarch, the Sussexes prompted an unprecedented flurry behind the scenes by announcing that Harry and Meghan would both be traveling to Balmoral. This caused a great deal of confusion among the royal staff.
The Sun reports that while Prince Harry was at Frogmore Cottage, his father called and asked him not to bring Meghan with them on their trip.
According to a source who spoke to the newspaper, Prince Charles told Prince Harry that it wasn't right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a profoundly sad time.
It was brought to his attention that Kate would not be attending, and that the guest list ought to be restricted to only the most immediate members of the family.
It has been made abundantly clear by Prince Charles that Meghan will not be welcomed.
In the meantime, it was reported by The Telegraph that due to constitutional reasons, Prince Harry was not initially summoned when senior royals made their way up to Balmoral, in contrast to his brother, Prince William, who was. It is quite difficult to spend too much time with someone when you know that they are about to publish a tell-all book about you, according to a royal insider who also stated this.
In the words of one additional source, "I think the general reaction to Harry and Meghan's behavior has been one of incredulity to be honest."
