4/17/2022 winter sowing jug method

Winter sowing is a great way to start your own seeds if you don’t have a lot of space inside or grow lights. The seeds will germinate when the time is right, the jug acts like a mini greenhouse. Protecting young plants and keeping them moist and the air humid. Once seedlings are ready to be transplanted you can separate the small plants in groups and tease the roots to separate. Another option just cut a few seedlings out in a wedge and transplant a few into a hole. Whichever is the strongest after a few days keep, the others can be cut out.
