6/4/2022 Garden Experiment: To add bagged soil or not to add bagged soil. That is the question.

I’m ready to start planting my new raised beds. Or am I?? Here is a little experiment for the new raised garden beds. I took 2 bags of soil and added them to the top of bed number 1 and evened it out. Bed number 2 got nothing additional added to the top. Both beds were filled with 8-10 inches of city leaf mould/compost. I think if I was planting seeds there may have been a difference but with seedlings and some already established plants I don’t think I will see a big difference. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN WITH THIS LITTLE EXPERIMENT.
