Life Adendum: we lost Power for 2.5 days during the hottest days of the year!

We lost power for a few days. It JUST came back on. My Canyon was almost totally destroyed and at least 2 town 400 homes and 5 lives WERE lost 2 years ago. The cause was stupidity and bureaucracy on the part of state government and the power lines. This time, when heavy winds were forecast the power company shut power off for 2 and a half days. Here, you get used to outages. This is after all a blue state and therefore in many ways 3rd world.
