8/10/2022 Worm Wednesday Feeding 1 lb. Red Wiggler bin

This is my 1 lb. red wiggler bin. Moisture feels a little high in this bin. The worms are loving all of the watermelon and cucumbers I’ve been feeding them. This is a special feeding I’m adding a piece of corn on the cob for the first time this season. Hoping for a nice worm ball in 2-4 days. For the grit I added powdered azomite, typically I add ground up eggshells but I want to make sure there are plenty of nutrients in the castings before I harvest them.
