Galaxiga is a Free-to-Play Retro-Space Shooter along the lines of Galaxian and Galaga.

In this game you control an over-powered fighter ship fighting through waves and waves of enemy ships.

〰️〰️〰️ Is Galaxiga “Pay to Win”? What do you get for spending real world money? 〰️〰️〰️

Galaxiga is not really a “pay to win” game but rather a “pay to advance” game. To advance through the campaign, one needs to purchase and upgrade different starships and drones. At the end of the Single Player level, there are enemies which block the entire screen. My ships do not have the firepower to break through and therefore am stuck. A new ship or more firepower is needed which is where the problems lie.

〰️〰️〰️ Is there any objectionable material in Galaxiga? 〰️〰️〰️

Shooting alien space bugs most people will not consider objectionable. However, there is a female elf-like creature who shows a touch of cleavage.

〰️〰️〰️ Is Galaxiga fun to play? Is the game challenging? Is this game a grind? 〰️〰️〰️

The game itself is rather fun. The enemies and their attacks are not your typical attacks that you find in games like this.

Eliminate the progress stoppers and this game would be much more fun.

〰️〰️〰️ Is Galaxiga playable on a mobile device? 〰️〰️〰️

This game should be playable on a mobile device. However when trying to expertly dodge enemy missiles, fine control is needed.

〰️〰️〰️ What about in-game advertisements? How many are there? How intrusive are they? Do you get anything for enduring them? 〰️〰️〰️

This part Galaxiga gets absolutely correct. There are no FORCED advertisements in this game. 😃️

Every ad you see you choose to select.

What does that mean? You can choose to watch an ad to gain an extra life. You can choose to watch 50 ads (limited to 5 per day) to get a starship box which contains parts to build a new starship. As you would expect, there are levels in between for single-use items.

There is no real story in Galaxiga.

While one can play multi-player or the lower levels of the campaign for a few minutes and enjoy the experience, the campaign and creating your squad make this more of a commitment game.
