We booked a day trip to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai.
We visited so many places during the one day trip , but the highlight of the trip was the White temple and the Blue temple. They are both magical.
After the two temples we visited the Black house and the Long neck village.
The last stop of the trip was the Golden triangle, where we took a boat trip on the river to see Laos and Myanmar. Unfortunately we couldn't get out from the boat in Laos as the country is still closed.
The way back to Chiang Mai was very long, over 4 hours, but the trip was totally worth it.
I would recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai to spend a day in Chiang Rai.
