In America around 5% of its couples are in some form of open relationship. Of married American couples less than 1% are in an open relationship. In this video I offer 5 reasons that open relationships fail over 92% of the time and why there is not enough data of open relationships that lasted more than 10 years to be able to see how it plays out long term.

This bone-headed idea is nothing new since if we go back to our caveman ancestors, we have evidence to suggest that early man wasn't very monogamous but eventually changed their ways. There was a reason for the abandonment of this lifestyle that more folks should be made aware.
