The Army General Orders 10 times for memorizing

The Army General Orders are the basic outline of orders to be followed in the US Army when in the absence of more specific orders. The three Army general orders cover what your duties are on a day to day basis. It is common that a soldier will need to memorize them in Army Basic Combat Training and even in OSUT. Its best to also make sure you know them out of order as well.

Army General Orders

General Order 1
I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.

General Order 2
I will obey my special orders and perform all of my duties in a military manner.

General Order 3
I will report violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of the relief.
