How To Can Fresh Garlic DILL PICKLES | Food Preservation
Canning Supplies Starter KitIf your like me and have too many Cucumbers that you may be thinking about canning dill pickles! Today I bring you how I have can dill pickles. For years I have been trying to can dill pickles with lemon juice because we don't like using vinegar. Lemon juice would be a much healthier choice. Only over the years trying to can with lemon juice we have never had good outcomes, the pickles are too soft and mushy, so I finally gave in a tried a recipe from a co-worker that works great every time. This is her recipe and how she cans using the open kettle method. I have also tried canning pickles water bathing them but they still are not crispy. So here is a full proof way to can crunchy dill pickles every time! Hope you enjoy this video and remember to have fun in the kitchen!
