Romans 08 - Nothing can separate us from the Love of God. A Bible Study

Romans chapter 8 has some of the most quoted verses in the Bible:
v1, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

v28, “in all things God works for the good of those who love him..."

v31, “if God is for us, who can be against us?”

vv38-39, “I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This week, in Chapter 8, we look at what Condemnation is and why we are no longer bound by that. We do take a slight tangent, with v1, looking at Textual Criticism and how we can be sure of the text we have today. Additionally covered is God as our Abba Father, as well as our being heirs to the kingdom of God, as well as predestination, God's calling, and the un-yeilding love of God.

Discussion Questions:
1. What is the difference between Condemnation & Conviction?
2. How is the believer to deal with either in their life?
3. If God predestined you to be saved, did you have a choice?
4. What have you put between you and God? (intentionally or not) Why?
