Archer Maclean created many legendary video games over the last 30 years including Dropzone, Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker and Mercury. In this brand new clip featuring lots of never before released material Archer talks about his inspiration to create the games 'International Karate' & 'IK+' (Chop N' Drop in the US) in the mid 1980's for the Commodore 64, Atari 800, Amiga and Atari ST.

This sequence was pulled from our archives and is part of a new thread we are creating called The Gaming Chronicles which will offer more in-depth insight into video games and the people behind them.
