📝Stewed meat with vegetables:
Meat on the bone - 1kg (I have lamb, you can substitute beef or pork)
Bell peppers, red, yellow - 1pc. each
Tomatoes - 3-5 pcs.
Onions - 2 units
Cilantro, parsley
Garlic - 5 cloves
Potatoes - 5 units
Chili pepper - to taste
Salt, black pepper, coriander, hopely suneli.
Light beer - 0,3 (you can replace with wine or water)
🍲Cut onions into half rings and put half of them on the bottom of the container we`ll cook in. Coarsely chop meat and put it on top of onions. Season with salt and add black pepper.
🍲 Peel peppers from seeds, cut them in big pieces and put on top of meat. Cut tomatoes in circles and put them on top of peppers.
🍲 Repeat the layers. On top of the tomatoes we put the remaining onions, then meat, peppers and tomatoes again. Along the edges lay out the potatoes. Add garlic, red pepper, salt and spices. Pour in beer, put the lid on, bring to the boil and reduce the temperature. Let it simmer on low heat for 2.5 hours. Cover and sprinkle with chopped herbs 10 minutes before the dish is ready.
📝Homemade Scones:
Kefir/protein - 1 cup (300ml)
Flour - 3,5 to 4 cups
Egg - 1pc
Live yeast - 25g (or 1 pack of dry yeast)
Salt, sugar - 1 tsp.
Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons.
Yolk, sesame seeds.
🍞Pour yeast, salt and sugar into a bowl. Heat kefir up to 30-40 degrees and pour it into a container. Add a glass of flour, mix well and leave for 20 minutes. Then add an egg, vegetable oil and mix. In portions add remaining flour. Knead. Brush with vegetable oil and leave for 1 hour.
🍞When the dough is ready, knead it. Divide into 4 parts. Form dough balls and leave for 20 minutes. Butter a baking tray, put the rounds and press them to form flatbreads. Grease with egg yolk or whole egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and put in a heated oven at 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes.Enjoy❤️
