Queen Elizabeth II, England's Longest Reigning Monarch, Dies at 96

The only Monarch of Britain most people have ever known has passed away today, September 8th/2022. An unmatched 70-year reign accompanying 96-years of a graceful life is something we will never see again. Her son, the now King Charles III will address the public tomorrow for the first time as King.

The almost sudden passing, as the Queen was 96 after all, caught most people off guard, including her grandson, Meghan Markle's husband, Prince Harry. He was on the way to Balmoral when she passed and he missed the last opportunity to make amends. Truly sad.

The hot takes are flowing, one came from a disgusting professor, Uju Anya, but was set right by Jeff Bezos of all people.

But today is not the day to catalogue the bad takes, it's a moment to look forward. Operation: London Bridge is underway. That is the plan for the 10-Day long schedule for the funeral procession, funeral proper, burial and ascension of King Charles III to follow.

They don't make leaders like they used to. The Queen is dead, Long Live the King.
