Today’s Kansas City Chiefs News centers around Frank Clark as the veteran DE is dealing with an illness and did not practice today according to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. Clark told Chiefs reporters before training camp that he had cut out liquor and red meat from his diet as he had been dealing with stomach issues. Could those same issues be popping back up? Clark also settled his 2 gun charges from last year by pleading no contest. He’ll be on probation for a year and serve 40 hours of community service.

Chiefs Special Teams Coordinator Dave Toub announced his returners for the 2022 season. Toub said that rookie RB Isaih Pacheco will handle kick return duties while 4th year WR Mecole Hardman will be the punt returner. In other Chiefs news, Kansas City has released TE Matt Bushman from IR with an injury settlement. Bushman suffered a shoulder injury in the Chiefs final preseason game. Bushman had 3 catches for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns in that game before the injury.
