Revelation Lesson-42: The Thousand Years - Part II

Today we are in Lesson-42 in the series “Come Lord Jesus!” from the book of Revelation.
 
This lesson is titled “The Thousand Years - Part II” and our focus passage is Revelation 20:7-10.
 
Please find your way in your Bible to that passage.

In our previous episode, we began our study of Revelation 20: The Thousand Years.
 
In this chapter, John witnesses the thousand-year reign, a final battle, and the great white throne judgment.
 
It is this section of Scripture where we find one of the most hotly debated passages in all of the study of prophecy:
 
The Thousand-Year Reign of Christ or the Millennium
 
In Part I of our study on Rev. 20, we focused on v1-6 and the Glorious Thousand-Year Reign.
 
As part of our lesson, we discussed the diverse views on the Millennium and how we cannot be dogmatic about the possibilities.

Even as we still might have questions about the Millennium, there is one thing we can know for certain:
 
Believers will rise to life eternal with Christ and they will reign with Him in His kingdom forever and ever.

In today’s lesson we are going to focus on the Global Final Battle by looking at verses 7-10.
 
In this section, Satan is freed from his maximum-security prison, the abyss, to:
 
“deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.”
