On Friday, July 10, 1981, shortly after 10 AM, 47 year old Ken Rex McElroy was shot while sitting in his pickup truck outside the D&G Tavern in Skidmore, Missouri. Ken was struck twice, with bullets from 2 different guns, killing him almost instantly. Despite up to 60 people witnessing the shooting and multiple investigations, no one has ever been charged in his death.
