If someone gave you 10 million dollars what would you do?

If someone gave me 10 million dollars this what I would do:

1. Centrally located cafe

The building or space doubles as a meeting place for Bible studies for all ages, fellowship on Sundays, prayer, one on one counseling about anything, marriage enhancement classes, train up young leaders by teaching them scripture and application of the teaching of the Word of God in our culture. Train on needed skills in modern time. Learning ground that naturally breeds healthy and edifying conversations.

Coffee and food team are independent contractors, could double as spiritual counselors. They pay no rent or utility costs the ministry pays for structure and operating costs. We want sustained excellence on the coffee and food so they need to make a profit which they may donate a portion to the ministry.

2. Purchase 100 - 200 acres of beautiful land - 1-2 million for land

Has to have a good sized stream with the potential of a working pond. Good amount of hardwood Trees for exotic treehouses. Some trees will be harvested to build a portion of the cabins which will range from studio sized (500sqft) to 2 bedroom (1000sqft)

These cabins and working treehouses will cost a min of 100k to build if we use wood from the land. Goal would be to maintain 50 structures using an Airbnb model for income. 300 nights per year. Occupancy will range from 40-90 percent year around.

Coop buy-in would earn so many weeks a year to stay in a cabin or treehouse and a portion of the food.

A road system will be installed to allow access to the deepest parts of the property. Trails will be incorporated. A working garden will also be included with greenhouses.

The staff would be part of the ministry and live on the property. They would have “working” requirement to access living quarters and food supply.

Land would have central building for weddings and other gathering purposes - income would be derived from this site.

Central kitchen/cafe to feed workers and guests.

All in minimum of 2 million most likely 3million in expenses

Operating costs for this rest renewal restoration operation would be at least 2 million per year. Income 4 million to start

3. Skilled labor training centers

Empty spaces in town where we can setup work stations to teach trade skills. Hire retired trade persons who will teach day and night classes.

Funding will be sourced through public and private funds. Costs dependent on facility costs. Pilot Mountain has empty space they could use for this purpose.
