Frightened rescue dogs first trip to town

Yesterday I took Peaches to town for the first time. She did fine at the first stop and waited for me in the truck without tearing anything up. Here we went into Petsence. I couldn’t get her to quit pulling so I got a buggy to push in front of me. That worked pretty good. We all three got into a rhythm and were working well together. The this little girl came through the door screaming “PUPPY,PUPPY, PUPPY!!!” And running straight for us. The mother never said anything or tried to stop her until I stepped between them and told her that Peaches was a scared puppy. Peaches wouldn’t have done anything but try to run away but I wanted this to be a good experience not a scary one.
