HERE AM I!

Pledge Of An Indian Princess

She stretched her arms out to the moon kissed sky.
Refuse she did not, delay, nor ask why.
Brave Princess said, “Holy Father, HERE AM I”.

You asked my help to comfort and heal man.
From You I shall receive a perfect plan
for peace of the dove for my tribe, my clan.

All men are equal in Your loving sight.
We are to seek peace, wage not war, nor fight--
Sow not hate, let love be our guiding light.

We are to know Thy truth, teach each other
to watch over each sister and brother,
honor our noble mother and father.

I’ll answer Your call, go where You will send
to make each nation a trustworthy friend;
Truth of proverbs shared, and all lies condemned.

To Your call and command, I lift my voice.
To obey Your call, Lord, is by my choice.
In words of The Great Commission, I rejoice!
