How to Finish a 4 Sided Collet with a Perfectly Tight Join

You can have a join on the corner but for hand made collets it can cause a few troubles.
I can start with a specific size and angled collet in mind with an exact wall thickness measurement. When finished, all 4 corners are identical in structure which is preferable to a 'corner joined' collet where 1 claw will be soldered in to a pre-existing solder join.
Also I found finishing the collet in a nice shape with the ends at a 45 degree angle for the corner join more tricky to make than finishing with the join inbetween the corners.
Doing it my way I can make the collet from start to finish with out needing to make modifications to have all 4 corners the same as each other.
The method has proven to be a faster route to finishing an accurately made, stronger collet more easily.
