AEW in Turmoil: CM Punk Injured & Vacating Title, Could Be FIRED!

CM Punk is exactly who you thought he was. Everything everyone warned AEW about has come to fruition as evidenced by the recent behavior of the World Champion.

In just a shade over a year, Punk has gone from the most loved person in Professional Wrestling, to the villain of the industry; at a time the company needs a break. But he has maintained his popularity, still the most talked about guy in the business...

The now infamous Press Conference post All Out this past Sunday resulted in a fight between Punk, Ace Steel, three people he called out in the presser, Kenny Omega, Matt & Nick Jackson, Pat Buck, Michael Nakazawa, Christopher Daniels and Brandon Cutler. The details are sketchy, but everyone involved is suspended; with Punk and Steel facing a much grimmer outcome.

Steel could wind up taking the fall, but Punk will be out regardless. He sustained another injury, this time requiring surgery. It's another World Title reign that is cut short by injury, but it might be permanent, because Punk being fired is a very real possibility. Holy.
