Psalm 9:9 King James Version
9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA Y’ALL!!!
I have to say guys that I not only appreciated this morning’s passage of scripture, but I was also very encouraged by it. I say this, because I have had a great deal of moments in my life, where I have run to the shelter of the almighty, and found the Lord as a refuge for me when I was experiencing some really rough times. I especially was challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share these questions with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to you through them as well.

When have you taken “refuge” in God or found it through his people?

I know I've shared this quite a few times, but one of the biggest areas where I took refuge in God and found it through his people, was last year, when Ricky and I were very badly affected by a flood that hit our town. The damage that that did, as well as two weeks later dealing with an EF3 tornado, is something that sticks in my mind, and always will. But, what also sticks in my mind is how God was there for us, and how He made sure we still had a place to stay, food, and more so, and for this I am extremely grateful.

What I'd like to do right now guys, is share some thoughts that God has given me concerning this passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight. I pray that what I share with you shows you how God can and will be your refuge as well, but also how you can help others who are facing their own crises. Come join me in this vlog, and learn what it really means, to know that God is your refuge and strength! 😊

So, as I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with this final post from this morning's devotion, and I pray that it will challenge and motivate you to be God's hands and feet to those that are facing trauma and crises right now.

How can you play a part in helping those facing a crisis today?

I pray that you will seriously consider this, and find ways in which you can be God's hands and feet, his light in the darkness, to be his agent of love and mercy to those who have been through life’s storms. Ask God to show you ways in which you can help those who are needy find refuge and hope In God, and do it! Maybe it's somebody that has lost their home to a natural disaster, someone who has been given a bad health report, or someone who has lost a family member unexpectedly. Ask God to show you ways that you can be an encouragement to these individuals, to be God's hands and feet, so that they can know true hope and salvation in Christ Jesus!

UNTIL THURSDAY:

HAVE A TRANQUIL, SWEET, AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
