Putin observes ‘Vostok-2022’ drills with China and India

As Russia’s joint military drills with India, China and other nations rolled on, President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Sergeevsky training ground in Russia’s Far East to observe part of the maneuvers. 50,000 Russian soldiers, as well as 2,000 foreign troops, are taking part in the event.

Vostok-2022, as the name implies, is an annual training and wargame exercise, which hosts not only Russian troops but soldiers and observers from allied nations.
