Why? Love.
The sick are the ones who need a doctor. The broken are the ones who need to be mended. If you think you're already perfect then what is there to do but leave you with your own ego as you worship yourself and your own righteousness. If you know that you still struggle with something, if you know that without GOD there is no grace and without grace we are all dead and cast away. If you know you're sick you can be made well, more than that, you want to stay with the one who can and does make us well. Well with our beings, well with our relationship, well with our souls. (Not necessarily in that order.)
