Canadian police have declared a false alarm after sources lead them to surround a residence during the manhunt for stabbing suspect Myles Sanderson.
Retired Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer Sherry Benson-Podolchuk says every day the police search for the suspect at large, stress and anxiety levels increase.
“But also, the potential for very serious danger and outcome,” she said.
“Not only for the citizens and the RCMP, all the police, but for the suspect as well.
“This person is not to be approached in any way unless you’re a police officer.”
