Legendary Sin Cities - Shanghai: Paradise for Adventurers

This is a 3-part CBC documentary series from 2005 featuring Berlin, Paris, and Shanghai, notorious hot spots of vice, debauchery, and corruption in the years between World War I and II.

Shanghai nightclubs never closed and hotels supplied heroin with room service. Passports were not required. Refugees of war, poverty, and politics wandered the streets amongst gangsters, prostitutes and cops.
