Union Pacific grainer makes its way eastward down the River Sub paralleling the Missouri River

Ever wonder why they call it the River Sub? There are periods in most springs where it could be appropriately called the "Flooded Sub." Doesn't take much flooding on the Missouri River before it approaches the tracks and covers portions of the highway. Also note the open top hatches on some of the grainers.
