RBT bs BDU patent infringement

Claims made by some people:
BDU wants customers information to be made public
Wrong. BDU wishes to receive customer service emails from rbt with no redactions of customer contact information.

RBT wants BDU customer info
RBT made the claim to the lawyers that there is no need for RB to give customer info. They said that they have more of a need for BDU WOT dealer information but that they were not requesting that information at the moment.

Where does this information come from:
BDU motion to make RB give information. And the email chain associated with it.

Email chain shows that RB does not keep customer information and that their digital shredding policy leaves sales records to just show date/amount with no customer identification.
RB claims BDU have no need for customer service email contact information.
RB claims they have more reason to and “might” ask for BDU dealer information to receive damages.

Big points from BDU the lawyers would be the only person to see contact info. Would not be public. Wouldn’t be seen by BDU or McKnights.
BDU wants to be able to prove that RB could not meet supply demands. There are other aspects that would allow them to show they are not liable for damages.

BDU motion says the only reason RB won’t give information is to save RB from bad publicity. The email seems to say that RB was telling BDU “please be sure that if you ask for this information you will likely see backlash online”
