Vultures Eat A Gnu Next To The Road | Maasai Mara Safari | Zebra Plains

Vultures and Marabou storks cleaning up the remains of a gnu. The scavenging birds had plenty of leftovers to feast on but nobody saw which predator was responsible for taking down the gnu. The vultures feeding so soon after a predator leaves mean flies eggs have no time to hatch in the leftover meat and therefore it reduced the chance of new flies completing their lifecycle and potentially spreading disease
