Los Angeles DEMANDS That Hotels House the Homeless | The Chad Prather Show

Last Friday, the Los Angeles City Council unanimously — unanimously — added a proposal to the March 2024 ballot that would require hotels to provide shelter to homeless people. The way it works is that every day by 2:00 in the afternoon, each and every hotel has to report to the Los Angeles Housing Department and tell them how many rooms are vacant. At which time, the department would pay them a certain rate for every room they “rent” and put a homeless person in. What could go wrong?
